GOOD MORNING FROM NOLA - VULCANO BUONO FOR THE SEVENTH STAGE OF THE GIRO ROSA
Three days at the end of the thirty-first edition of the Giro Rosa, the Giro Rosa of the restart, and the caravan starts again from where it stopped yesterday afternoon. After Marianne Vos double consecutive, overall hat-trick, the seventh stage counts 112.5 kilometers from Nola to Maddaloni. With the energy already reduced to a flicker, the athletes will face another complex stage. The first kilometers do not foresee any particular difficulty, the situation changes markedly starting from kilometer 82, in Caserta. Here begins the climb to the Sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo, a third category roughness. At the top you go down, you pass the finish line for the first time and go up again. On the second pass to the summit, final dive towards the finish line of Maddaloni. The general classification could be shaken.

NOLA-VULCANO BUONO
Part of the metropolitan city of Naples, Nola is known with the nickname of '' Bruniana city '', as in 1548 it gave birth to Giordano Bruno, also remembered by a statue made by the sculptor Raffaele De Crescenzo and placed in the center of the square in front of the court. Nola is located in the basin of the former navigable river of the Clanio, between the mountains of Partenio and the hills of Vesuvius. The Cathedral of Nola is very famous, rebuilt in 1900 following a fire. In 2013, a domus ecclesiae was found under the cathedral, the only testimony in Campania. Among the civil architectures, the Orsini Palace, the Episcopal Seminary of Nola and Villa Castelcicala stand out. There is no shortage of archaeological sites: we are talking about the Brick Amphitheater and the Prehistoric Village of Nola. In the month of June in the city the Festa dei Ligli is celebrated, in honor of the patron saint of the city San Paolino: the procession in honor of the Saint sees over one hundred men parading in the center of the town, carrying wooden obelisks on their shoulders.

MADDALONI
We remain in Campania, moving to the province of Caserta. Maddaloni constitutes a sort of southern appendix of the city of Caserta. Interesting to visit is the Museum of ancient crafts and peasant civilization: inside it is exhibited numerous work tools from the last century and some ancient workshops are re-proposed. Another curiosity is the presence in the city of the oldest school in the province of Caserta, the Convitto Giordano Bruno. The production of the Maddalonese straw chair is also rooted in tradition.

The race will be broadcast on a delayed basis by Raisport at 18:20. Ample space also in the usual afternoon strip within TourReplay and, for the first time this year, on RaiPlay. Eurosport will broadcast the race from 4:20 pm until 5:20 pm.
