The day after the triumphal march by Annemiek Van Vleuten on the climb to Laghi di Cancano, the Giro Rosa Iccrea 2019 lives another important day in Valtellina. The uphill time trial from Chiuro and Teglio on the wine road of the valley, considered as World Heritage by the UNESCO.
The climb to Teglio, the home of the traditional dishes like Pizzoccheri and Sciatt, doesn't have hard slopes. It is very panoramic and has beautiful views above the villages and the Orobic Alps. Big changes are expected in the general classification. The first rider will start at 11 AM and they will be repeated every minute until the final 10 athletes, who will start every two minutes.
