The first stage (18 Km long) is an Individual Time Trial arriving in Castellania, the hometown of "the Campionissimo" Fausto Coppi. The athletes will ride around Alessandria, along the Scrivia river. The start is in Cassano Spinola.

The Cycling Circuit of Castellania

The Circuit of Castellania is a cycle track in the province of Alessandria created to pay tribute to Fausto and Serse Coppi who were born there. The circuit measures 16.4 km of which 6.5 on the cycle path with 3 equipped rest areas.

House-museum of Fausto Coppi

The house-museum collects relics and testimonies that tell the life of the "Campionissimo" and his brother Serse who were both born in Castellania. It is open to the public from March to October.

A tasty tour along "the road of the champions"

A tasty tour of the Colli Tortonesi by e-Bike or muscle bike. It is the program of the special itinerary along “the roads of the champions” from Cassano Spinola to Castellania Coppi and back. Special guest Silvia Parietti, cycling champion and cycling tourist guide of Tuscany Love Bike.

The meeting point is in Cassano Spinola at 2.30 pm in Piazza XXVI Aprile and the departure for Castellania Coppi is at 15:00. Wine tasting and tasting of local products at 5:00 pm. Departure from Castellania towards Cassano at 6.00 pm (e-Bike participants will return with means of transport provided by Costante Girardengo). At 7:00 pm arrival in Cassano Spinola and at 8:00 pm final show.
