For stage 3 the athletes will stay nearby Biella. The start is in Sagliano Micca (576 m.) then after a slow descent the route rises gradually until Gagliano e Tollegno with a final steeply ending in Piedicavallo (1049 m.).
It is a historic garden located on the "Brik Burcina", in the area between Biella and Pollone. The Park has a total area of ??57 hectares with an elevation range from 570 to 830 meters and it is idea for many excursions. The entrance is in Pollone.
Built between 1955 and 1970, the villa is located in a raised position overlooking the Canavese, the vast region between the Serra di Ivrea, the Po, the Stura di Lanzo and the Graian Alps. It houses a precious collection of paintings made by Piedmontese artists between the end of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century.

It is a Marian shrine dedicated to the Black Madonna. It is located about ten kilometers from Biella, at 1100 meters above sea level, and is a very suggestive panoramic point. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003.
