The Ghisallo hill is one of the most beloved places by cyclists of all ages. A place where in the past several competitions have been decided, including the Giro d'Italia and the Giro di Lombardia. Every year it is the destination of many sports lovers who pay visit to the 17th century Sanctuary where a painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary, called Madonna del Ghisallo, proclaimed Patroness of Cyclists since 1949 is kept. The Ghisallo Museum, founded in 2006 by the "Lion delle Fiandre ”Fiorenzo Magni, is dedicated to all cyclists, professionals and non-professionals, and lets the public know about the whole world that revolves around two wheels.
