The stage develops around the city of Terracina. City present in the mythological tales, of the “Odissea”, the legends tell, lived the witch Circe, from which the name of the Monte Circeo promontory derives. The surrounding area gave birth several years ago to the “Circeo National Park”.
It starts from Terracina to return after 110 kilometers and two Gpm. The first in the second category in Itri, after 50 kilometers of racing. The second is at the 80th kilometer in Monte San Biagio. From there to the finish line there is still a long way to go and if the teams of the more resistant sprinters find an agreement there will be no bread for other teeth.
