The route starts from the town near Naples, between Vesuvius and the Gulf of Naples, to extend inland up to Nola, the city that was the birthplace of the philosopher Giordano Bruno. Nola is also famous for the festival of lilies which UNESCO has included as an intangible heritage of humanity.
